What do I need to do to operate a multifunctional bending machine?

DATE:2024-09-07 16:18:02
To operate a multifunctional bending machine, the following aspects need to be done well:

**1、 Preparation before operation**

1. Check the equipment
-Check if all components of the multifunctional bending machine are intact, including the body, bending mold, transmission system, electrical system, etc. Ensure that all components are securely connected without any looseness, damage, or oil leakage.
-Check whether the safety protection devices of the equipment are complete and effective, such as protective covers, emergency stop buttons, etc.

2. Prepare tools and materials
-Prepare the necessary bending molds and select the appropriate mold type and specifications according to the requirements of the processed workpiece. Ensure that the mold is securely installed without any looseness or damage.
-Prepare the materials to be processed and check if their dimensions, material, and surface quality meet the requirements. Remove oil stains, rust, and debris from the surface of the material to avoid affecting the processing quality.

3. Adjust equipment parameters
-Adjust the parameters of the multifunctional bending machine according to the requirements of processing workpieces, such as bending angle, bending radius, pressure, etc. Parameter settings can be made through the numerical control system, or adjustments can be made by referring to the equipment operation manual.
-Adjust the height and angle of the bending machine's worktable to meet the machining needs of workpieces of different sizes and shapes.

**2、 Operation process**

1. Loading and positioning
-Place the material to be processed on the worktable of the multifunctional bending machine and use positioning devices or molds to ensure accurate positioning of the material. When positioning, attention should be paid to avoiding collisions or scratches between materials and molds.
-Choose the appropriate feeding method based on the size and shape of the material, such as manual feeding, automatic feeding, or robotic feeding. Ensure the safety and stability of the feeding process.

2. Start the device
-After confirming that all parameters of the device are set correctly, press the start button to start the multifunctional bending machine. After the device is started, it should be run empty first to check whether all parts are running normally and whether there are any abnormal noises or vibrations.
-During idle operation, observe whether the indicator lights and display screens of the electrical system are displaying normally, and whether the pressure, flow rate, and temperature of the hydraulic system are normal. If there is any abnormal situation, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection, and the fault should be eliminated before proceeding with the operation.

3. Bending operation
-After the equipment runs normally, the material is fed into the bending molds for bending operation. During operation, attention should be paid to controlling the pressure and speed of the bending machine to avoid material deformation or mold damage caused by excessive pressure.
-During the bending process, the deformation of the material and the working status of the mold should be closely observed. If there are any abnormal situations, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection. At the same time, safety should be taken into account to avoid contact between hands or other parts of the body and molds or moving parts.

4. Complete the bending process
-After the material is bent to the desired angle, stop the operation of the bending machine and remove the bent workpiece. When removing the workpiece, attention should be paid to avoiding collision or scratching between the workpiece and the mold.
-Check whether the dimensions, angles, and surface quality of the bent workpiece meet the requirements. If there are any areas that do not meet the requirements, the equipment parameters or molds should be adjusted in a timely manner for rework.

**3、 Clean up after operation**

1. Turn off the device
-After completing the processing task, press the stop button to turn off the multifunctional bending machine. Before turning off the equipment, the workbench should be lifted to the highest position and debris and waste should be cleaned from the workbench.
-Turn off the power switch and hydraulic system valves of the equipment, and cut off the power and hydraulic sources of the equipment.

2. Clean the equipment
-Clean the workbench, mold, and body surface of the multifunctional bending machine of oil stains, debris, and waste. Use a clean cloth or brush to clean and avoid scratching the surface of the equipment with hard objects.
-Clean the filter and oil tank of the hydraulic system, and replace the hydraulic oil. Regularly cleaning the hydraulic system can ensure the normal operation of the equipment and extend its service life.

3. Maintain equipment
-Perform daily maintenance and upkeep on the multifunctional bending machine, including checking whether the connections of various parts of the equipment are firm, whether lubricating parts need to be lubricated, and whether the electrical system is normal.
-Regularly conduct comprehensive inspections and maintenance of equipment, such as checking the wear and tear of molds, adjusting the accuracy of equipment, replacing vulnerable parts, etc. Regular maintenance can ensure the performance and accuracy of equipment, improve its reliability and service life.

In short, operating a multifunctional bending machine requires strict adherence to operating procedures, attention to safety, and ensuring the normal operation and processing quality of the equipment. During the operation process, one should continuously accumulate experience and improve operational skills to better utilize the performance and advantages of the equipment.
